Weather Nerd Update: Monsoon Season came to a close in Arizona on Thursday, September 30. (It’s been a busy few days, so sorry for the late post.) Officially at the airport we got 12.79″ of rain making it the third wettest Monsoon on record here in Tucson. We also had the wettest July on record. The wettest monsoon ever was in 1964 with 13.84″ of rain. Here in TQV, we got 14.60″ of rain from June 15-September 30. We’ve had 16.54″ for the year so far. There’s a slight chance for rain on Tuesday, so we could add to that total. Every bit counts here in the desert! Here are some of my favorite photos from the season.
